After an entire career working as a consultant, I finally decided to jump over the fence and move into industry.  My current responsibilities include managing the implementation of standard finance processes and systems for a global pharmaceutical company, with geographic responsibility for Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.  I spend a lot of time on planes.

Before I moved into industry, I spent time working with a number of consultancies, focusing on finance function transformation and large-scale project management.  I’m currently based in Basel, Switzerland, but I have lived in the US, UK, and France as well, and have spent much of my career working internationally, with long stints in the US, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Singapore, Thailand, and India.

Project & Programme Management

  • PRINCE2-certified project manager with experience of major IT & transformation programmes
  • Project experience of global projects with multimillion-dollar budgets and teams of 50+
  • Management responsibility for multiple workstreams & geographies
  • Preparation of strategy, objectives, benefits/business case, scope, schedule, and organisation
  • Responsible for budgeting, risk management, quality assurance, and issue resolution

Change Management

  • ChangeFirst-certified change manager
  • Experience working with multinational functional stakeholders across business and technology

IT Implementation

  • Experience across technologies including ERP, BW, and document management systems
  • Full lifecycle experience, including requirements analysis; functional design; system, integration and user-acceptance testing; deployment; and post-go-live support

  • Experienced presenter with strong workshop facilitation skills
